Who We Are
Robert (Bob) Clouston
Bob has been involved in beef production from genetics to the packing plant for 50+ years. B C Cattle Company has raised Registered Angus, commercial cows, grazed yearlings and wheat pasture calves, feeding out these cattle mostly in western Kansas. During that time he purchased over 200 bulls. He spent 30 years working in a nutritional capacity, specializing in large ranches and feedlots.
Married 58 years to Marye, they have 3 children, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Bob received his B A degree in Economics from Fort Hays State University in 1972.
Clinton Laflin
Clinton is a 5th generation seed stock breeder, who owns C Bar L Cattle Company located near Eureka, Kansas. Clinton has evaluated multiple cattle shows across Canada, Mexico and the United States including the American Royal, Cattlemen's Congress, and multiple Junior Nationals.
A graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B S in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science, and a Masters in International Agriculture. While in college Clinton competed on the nationally competitive livestock judging team. He is now a Livestock Extension Agent for Kansas State University, in addition to running Angus cows.

R. Scott (Bronc) Barrows
Bronc grew up on the plains on west central Kansas. He is the 4th generation of the Barrows family involved with the cattle industry.
Bronc was a member of the National Champion Colby C C Livestock Judging Team in 1981. Transferring to Kansas State University brought on the next level of livestock evaluation and he was a team member to the 1983 National Champion Team coached by Dr. Billy V. Able.
In 1998 he moved his family from Kansas to Georgia as a herdsman for Talmo Ranch, Talmo, Georgia. Then in 2009/2010 he moved back to Ness City, Kansas, to help his aging parents.
Currently Barrows runs a small elite herd of Angus and Chi-Angus cows. AIing since the early 80's has been essential to the development, growth and quality of these elite females. Barrows has evaluated cattle on 3 continents.
